After all that they want me to retake part of my science GCSE.

Yesterday went pretty well in the end. We went to a bookshop in Exeter where my mum was meant to be doing a reading/book signing. There weren't that many people to start off with and she didn't actually do that much reading (there was nobody to read too) but she signed quite a lot of books later on and I think everything sold pretty well. She kind of found out some stuff about the market she's in that depressed her though, but I'm hoping she isn't thinking about it too much. I've not seen much of her this morning so I don't know. We got to see Cate as well, which was really nice. She seems to really like me for some reason, it's mostly weird because she hasn't seen me in a while again, so I doubt she even remembers me that much. Plus I was generally uncomfortable where I was which shouldn't have helped.
Found an AMAZING shop in Exeter yesterday that sells all vintage clothes. They have beautiful 50s dresses. Ooooo it was great but v expensive.

I don't have to go to my dad's today 
. I was sort of planning on thinking up an endless supply of excuses so I never have to go again but then I remembered my gran. :/ I only really get to see her when I'm with my dad and it's her 90th this week which I feel bad 'cause I can't go to... so I figure I'll go next weekend and then start the excuses up. Except obviously I'll have to go to see my gran sometimes 'cause I like my gran.
Jemma says I should stop moaning and get on with it. But she has a nice dad, which I figure makes you kind of unqulified to say anything. I probably should just get on with it. I'm kind of sick of doing that, though.
Anyway, I have a massive essay that I don't understand to be getting on with. I want to have some time this afternoon 'cause I'm gunna have some (hopefully non-miserable) time with just my mum today [:
